Jobs Details :- Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from the designated Districts of State of Chhattisgarh to become airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades will be held at Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Science College (Machewa), Mahasamund (Chhattisgarh) from 20 July 2013 to 26 July 2013 as per the Selection Programme given below.

Qualifications : Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR (b) Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology /Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.

Age Limit : Candidates should be born between 01 MAY 1993 to 30 November 1996 (both days inclusive). (b) Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years

Pay Scale : During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance(DA), will be Rs. 22,410/-per month approximately) [Pay in Pay Band - (Rs.7,050/-)+Grade Pay - (Rs.2,000/-)+Military Service Pay (MSP)-Rs.2,000/-+Group X Pay (Rs.1400/-) +DA 80%- (Rs.9960/-) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 39,546/-per month (approximately) [ Pay in Pay Band -(Rs.13,770/-) + Grade Pay - (Rs.4800/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) - (Rs.2,000) + Group X Pay - (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA  80% - (Rs. 17,576/-)]as per sixth pay commission depending upon the rank attained. Other allowances such as Transport Allowance, Composite Personal Maintenance Allowance(CPMA), Leave Ration Allowance (LRA), Family Planning Allowance, GCB+Classn pay, HRA etc are also admissible to airmen.

Medical Standards : (a) General Medical Standards for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades are as follows: (i) Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms. (ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm. (iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. (v) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. (vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (vii) Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of world, in any climate and terrain. (b) Colour Vision, Visual Standards and Leg Length for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades are as follows

How to Apply : Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades will be held at Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Science College (Machewa), Mahasamund (Chhattisgarh) from 20 July 2013 to 26 July 2013 as per the Selection Programme given below.
