1. Professor : 21 Vacancy in various specialties, Salary : Rs.37400 to 67000 + GP Rs.10500/-
2. Associate Professor : 02 Vacancy, Salary : Rs.37400 to 67000 + GP Rs.9000/-
3. Assistant Professor : 54 Vacancy in various specialities, Salary : Rs.15600 to 39100 + GP Rs.8000/-

How to Apply : Application form and detailed information can be obtained from the office of the Recruitment Cell, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research , Chandigarh – 160012 either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed & stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope (27 cm x 12 cm) along with a Demand Draft of Rs.525/- (Rs.275 for SC/ST applicants) drawn in favour of the Director Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh payable at SBI, Sector 12, Chandigarh (Code No.1524) as non-refundable fee and cost of application form etc. The same application form can also be obtained from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research website, a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST Applicants) should be attached with application towards application fee.
